Dry pigments and marble dust create matte depth with a stone-like presence.
Atelier Notes
Atelier
A working studio focused on pigment, pressure, silence, and surface. This page uses sample text for the artist story, process, and material direction.
Process
Built through layers, pauses, and revisions.
Each work begins with diluted ground colour, then develops through dry pigment, graphite scoring, oil washes, and hand-applied metal leaf. The composition is resolved slowly, so the final surface keeps visible decisions.
Fluid lines add movement and interruption without overwhelming the quiet field.
Metallic accents catch light subtly, appearing and disappearing as the viewer moves.
